Blastcore Eagle, also known as BCE, is a community driven project to improve the quality and authenticity of visual effects in ArmA 3.

Blastcore Eagle is a configuration cleanup and compatibility patch collection for Blastcore Phoenix 2, originally created by OpticalSnare.

The project is entirely open-source and all contributions are welcome. Feel free to maintain your own custom version, so long as the changes you make are open to the public in accordance with the ArmA Public License and GNU General Public License (ArmAPub, GPLv2).

Contributing

You can help out with the ongoing development by looking for potential bugs in our code base, or by contributing new features. To contribute something to BCE, simply fork this repository and submit your pull requests for review by other collaborators.

Testing & building

The entire project layout and build process is exactly like ACE3, with the only difference being WarFXPE's folder must be copied to your P:\ drive before building to fix external asset references.

To help us test the latest development changes, download our master branch (directly, or with git), then assemble a test build.

I get an error that says something about ...smoke_rocket when detonating satchel charge.

Everything else works great.
