Here's the long story.

Interconnect Requests are a function of letting the other VANs know about the routes on ECGrid as well as setting up Trading Partnerships on the VANs that require them.

ECGrid is an "open routing" system. This means that if the Qualifier/ID is defined on ECGrid, the data will route, regardless if an "interconnect" is set up.

So, using InterconnectCancel() notifies the other VAN that the request has been canceled. However, ECGrid will continue to route to both QIDs if data is received.

With that said, since ECGrid is "open routing" if you have a Qualifier/ID assigned to your Network, it will receive any data sent to it until it is Terminated.

There is no easy way to accept transaction from one trading partner, but block them from another.
