Based on the minima
theme provided by the jekyll repo. The site is hosted by GitHub pages and locally is managed through a container and VSCode. For more details, see .devcontainer
and file package-lock.json
To build locally run inside the repo:
bundle install
Then, run the site locally with:
bundle exec jekyll serve
While, this process run, you can access the site through http://localhost:4000
If you use run the site inside a container, remember to forward the port to the host to grant access to localhost:4000
.
If you use VSCode, you can use the task defined in .vscode
. To only build the site, press f1
and type run task
, and select the task Build Task
. If you want to run the site locally select the task Build and run serve
.
Add a MD file with label year-month-day-youtitle.md
to make it parse by the builder. It will be listed in the blog
layout page.
