After slack update v4.0.2 FileNotFoundError about makeitdark

Well afaict from my limited electron hacking they are no longer loading the unpacked app.asar.

I'm not sure if there is a way to get it to use that.

Renaming the unpacked folder does not seem to prevent the app from running fine and renaming the app.asar definitely does. It also does not seem to fall back on the unpacked folder if the app.asar is gone.

So it looks like we are locked out, no more non asar'd js to inject into. 😞

but maybe I am missing something...

I was using the version from the macOS app store so I thought I should check the regular download, which seems to be a point.point release ahead... however the package structure looks the same, no src folder in the app.asar.unpacked folder.

and also creating that structure src/static/ssb-interop.js hoping that something is still looking there ... does not work.

Looks like this option is working for recent versions:

They are unpacking and repacking the asar.
