Hi There. I have managed to build a unit up. I have double and tripled checked your schematic and board against my board.
I programmed the attiny using a Uno and using the follow command in windows
avrdude -c arduino -P com3 -p t45 -b 19200 -U flash:w:C64_autofire.hex:i -B 1024 -U lfuse:w:0xe2:m -U hfuse:w:0x57:m
This successfully wrote no issues.
The only thing I can see I that could be wrong is that I am using BZV55 5.6V zener diode instead of the BZX85 one your mentioned.
I have checked the joystick button input on either side of the diode. On the cathode side I am not getting any pulldown on the signal at all.
I have checked the spec sheet but cannot determine what the main differences are. Could this be the issue I am having?
Let me know if you have any advise.
Thanks
Hello there. Great device. I am wanting to make one and just wondered if the C64_autofire.hex is ready to go.
Also if this is ready to go, when I program using avrdude do I need to add any fuse settings?
I see lfuse:w:0xe2:m -U hfuse:w:0x57:m in the Makefile
