Thanks for the report @persello I will take a look at it.

I think the reason of the error is as you said the CONFIG_LVGL_DISPLAY_ORIENTATION_* option, it is not defined for the ILI9488 display

So on the sh1107_set_px_cb function the byte_index and bit_index variables are not initialized nor assigned with a value because neither of the CONFIG_LVGL_DISPLAY_ORIENTATION_* symbols are defined, them are getting used later without a value assigned to them, that's the compilation error.

Could you please pull the fix_ili9488_orientation branch and test if it works for you?
