I attached this to another Issue, however i feel i should attach it here. If
run as a regular user it passes most tests, see attached. But it does still
fail on quite a few. and it does not error at the end. This is also HP-UX
11.23.

thanks,

Sean

There used to be a HP Test Drive program that would allow shell accounts
to HP-UX systems for up to 30 days. That doesn't appear to be around anymore.
You don't know of any other places where I could get an account on HP-UX to
work on these issues do you?

It would be very nice to have a working testsuite on HP-UX. Would you be able
to run

  sh -x ./t0001-basic.sh

in the tests directory (after an initial attempt at 'make check'), and attach
the
output to this issue?

Thanks!

I am still looking for a place where I can test on HP-UX around here.

HP-UX doesn't appear to have seq(1), and there seems to be some tests that don't
check for the SEQ prereq. I'll fix the erroneous checks for the SEQ prereq and
also try to find and alternative for seq on HP-UX. Hopefully at that point the
testsuite will get a little farther.

See also Issue 28. I imagine that issues with the testsuite on HP-UX are many
of the same as found on AIX. (but I actually have an AIX system on which to
test)

Closing this issue. I assume the fixes for testsuite on AIX also fixed HPUX
