Needs a better solution. Even if we disable underscore, multiplication would still cause problems (e.g. 2 * 3 * 5 = 30). It would be unrealistic (at least for now) to ask for extension in Hoedown; maybe we should parse the Markdown once before Hoedown does and escape characters between math delimiters?

Need to study MathJax’s source to find a good rule(?) for this.

It would be to include this processing in the parser, I think. I’ll propose a patch to Hoedown, and with we’ll get that natively in the future.

Before that happens, though, you’ll need to write math like this:

which is not good, but works. Closing this as wontfix.
