Reverts to default theme in controller mode about psplustilestheme

I'm afraid I don't have a Steam Deck so I can't debug this, it's possible that different code is loaded for controller mode. Does anyone know if it is possible to simulate the controller mode on a regular PC?

Steam Deck runs the same version of the PS Plus app as Windows, since it uses the Proton compatibility layer to run Windows programs. So, you can definitely recreate the issue on Windows, you just need to plug in a controller and click on controller mode in the app.

Using a Steam Deck, got everything to work great, but it reverts to default theme (losing search bar and your category ordering) when I click controller mode. I need to do this to get the gamepad to work on the Steam Deck. Any ideas? Thanks!

I just did the same thing on my Steam Deck, and it works great, but I have the same problem as you, where the theme resets when Controller Mode is selected. Maybe the code for the custom theme only executes when you start the app, and then when you press the controller mode button, it resets the theme. I wonder if there's a way to get the app to start in controller mode, maybe then the custom theme code will stick.
