I don't think that I really understand what you mean. You say that you have troubles with Materials when you use AssetStudio, right? Then use UtinyRipper instead ;)
Ok, seriously. If you have any troubles with AssetStudio then ask Perfare and he will help you. If those troubles are with UR and not with AS then I need your asset file to check this problem myself.

It is both. I can zip up the file so you can see what I mean. The combined meshes have no materials assigned. This is where the bulk of the meshes are so I will have to assign myself if there is no fix. Give me a bit and I will get you a link to the file sir. Thank you.

It was issue with dependencies. Fixed in 5a4d377

Everything worked good. I just had to assign all the textures to my materials in Unity other than that it opened in Unity just fine once I moved the folders over to a new project.
