Pausing game on card popup? about magarena

I agree with the optional popup, maybe manual popup with a key-hold. I got used to the continuous pace of the game and pausing broke immersion.
Also, I had a problem in a pre-1.55 Magarena, where the Left & Right keys suddenly don't function unless I open the Preferences and click Save, and the gameplay was choppy especially when playing long matches of about 15 turns, that reoccured in this release, I thought the popup was the culprit. No clue though.

Thanks for the comments. I have added a new setting to make this optional (it is off by default so same as pre-1.56). Should be available in latest build within a couple of hours ...

Although I would count it as a separate bug that the game pauses even during my turn. For example, if I click a card in my hand to cast it, and quickly enough move the mouse over a land card, the game doesn't advance to the stage where it would highlight the available lands in blue, so clicking does nothing. Only if I move my mouse away does the game advance to the point where I can start clicking lands.

Only pause game loop on card image popup when the AI has priority since that is the primary reason for the pause - to prevent the AI doing something while you are distracted.
