Based on the documentation I found, the main difference between BHP-6000 and BHT-6000 seems to be that this one only supports heating. So that explains why dps 5, which is the mode on BHP-6000 is a boolean on this model.

Is the temperature in C or F? It seems high for C, but low for F, but it could be the right range for a spa pool, or in anti-frost mode.

Temperature is in C. Also with the official integration (old not the new with IoT Tuya) i have to set this settings for obtain correct values. With the new integration (Tuya Iot) i have vey low values for this reason i try to use your tuya local code :-)

make-all avatar make-all commented on June 18, 2024

So it is scaled by 2, is that correct? The 40 is actually a setting of 20 C?

antoweb avatar antoweb commented on June 18, 2024

Yes you are true. All values are divided by 2

antoweb avatar antoweb commented on June 18, 2024

To be precise desired temperaure and current temperature values are divided by 2

Do you have it configured in localtuya as well, or the app running on your phone? Tuya devices are limited to one local connection.

from tuya-local.

antoweb avatar antoweb commented on June 18, 2024

So you are telling me to disconnect my thernostat from android app? So i have to use only from HA?

from tuya-local.

make-all avatar make-all commented on June 18, 2024

You just need to close the app, you can leave the device configured in the app, but you may need to go into settings and force close the app to ensure it has stopped completely.

antoweb avatar antoweb commented on June 18, 2024

Yes. You are right. Last question: how to install from hacs the new custom component version. Now i have downlaoded the code manual and overwriteen the code inside \config\custom_components\tuya_local then restarted HA. There is a method to install the new component version from HACS?
Thanks very much for the fix

In HACS, on the Integrations tab, click the menu icon in the top right, and you should see a "Custom Repositories" there.

Put https://github.com/make-all/tuya-local. into the URL field, and select Integration for the Category, then press Add.

After that, go back to the Integrations tab and Explore and Add Repositories (or it might already show up as a new integration).

If you want to install the current latest commit rather than a release, choose the menu on the Tuya Local card, and select Reinstall, from there you can select which version to install, main is the latest commit.

Ok now is working good. Last question (real now :-)) is possible to trigger if the thermostat have turned on my gas boyler? In the tuya app when the rele is on, so the boyler is started for heating my radiotor, there is a small flame.

If you open Developer Tools, and type the name of your device, you can see all the attributes. Probably one of the unknown ones is signalling this info.

from tuya-local.

antoweb avatar antoweb commented on June 18, 2024

Thanks but after a check the unkown attributes remain always Like this
unknown_103: '1'
unknown_104: true

In all cases

from tuya-local.

make-all avatar make-all commented on June 18, 2024

You do need to manually refresh the developer tools pageto see changes.

If the tuya app is able to display the status, then it must be returned somehow.

from tuya-local.

antoweb avatar antoweb commented on June 18, 2024

I tried but I'm sure those two attributes always remain fixed
