Ruby 1.9 Encoding Issue about aws-s3

Why is this not incorporated into the gem? Its a pain to have to maintain your own fork with only that small change.

I am also having issues with this gem in 1.9.2 - thanks for your amazing work but is there a possibility these changes will make it into the gem otherwise we will have to maintain a fork also.

No worries, I think sometimes we forget people sweat on this stuff for free - add irate users and most people burn out. I'm anxious to get this running in 1.9 also and may issue a pull request - forgive me if you already have.

There's already Pull 42 which fixes this, not yet incorporated.
