My name is Mariam Walaa, I am an aspiring data scientist with a passion for solving real-world problems using machine learning and data-driven insights. My areas of interest are Natural Language Processing, Recommendation Systems, Algorithms, Reproducible Workflows, Predictive Modeling, and Mathematical Optimization. • 🎓 I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics at Toronto Metropolitan University, with a research focus on Pursuit Evasion Games (Graph Theory). My expected graduation date is in 2025.

• 🎓 I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with minors in Statistics & Geographic Information Science, from the University of Toronto, which I completed in April 2023.

• 🎓 In addition, I previously started a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University, which I exited in 2017.

• 💼 I have over 3 years of professional work experience in data science in engineering, retail, and social sciences, contributing to a wide range of projects that have made a significant impact.

• 🌐 I am proficient with programming languages including R and PYthon, as well as ArcGIS Products, with strong skills in SQL and Google Cloud Platform.
