@fade2gray Yes, you're right. I changed ahk++.runSelection's when clause to editorHasSelection && editorLangId == 'ahk', now they're working together, but they should've conflicted, why would someone want to assign the same shortcut to two different functions?

There are bound to be conflicts if you assign the same shortcut to two different functions - why do it?

Because AHK++ isn't fully in charge of keyboard shortcuts, and because there's an easy, well-described workaround, I'm closing this issue. Thanks for the help @fade2gray and for documenting your solution @wenfangdu
