What link did you click on. The page I linked above has two links one for Windows:

https://github.com/markwal/GpxUi/releases/download/2.5.2/setup.exe

And one for Mac:

https://github.com/markwal/GpxUi/releases/download/2.5.2/GpxUi.dmg

Neither of those is the xml file you're showing.

It looks like an error message from Amazon Web Services underneath Github. Perhaps github is having an outage in your region? Or maybe Firefox is doing something funny.

You may want to try to download a zip file from the release, just to test if it is related to the .exe:

Or try downloading a zip file from elsewhere on github.com:

https://github.com/foosel/OctoPrint/releases

Bingo, I redid the first link and grabbed the source code zip and it downloaded just fine so it is the .exe doing it.
