Hoping that this will be a quick fix to the Gremlin code - it really is a
great library if it effects the app on the same level as a user would -
it's only of partial use otherwise.
So the issue is with absolutely positioned elements that have z-index > 0
is it? Confirming that would be a good start.

I think that gremlins are working on all levels - they just don't have indicators on proper z-index...

OK, perhaps this is something that can be defined via custom gremlins? Do
you have the time to look into it and experiment with it at all? I don't
unfortunately...

Indeed, gremlins did work even on modals, but their actions weren't visible when under modals. This is now fixed.
