Amalgam provides a brutally simple webserver for no-nonsense news aggregation. Kinda inspired by coven.

Driving impetus is:

  • JS isn't needed if you're just aggregating news/links of interest
  • humble hosting requirements
  • Roll your own aggregation

Issues with error handling

I've found some errors in the API calls that panic and bring down the server. This needs to be tested and triaged.
