127.0.0.11:53: server misbehaving about geoipupdate

I think this is an issue with the Docker container's DNS or its DNS server rather than geoipupdate.

If you google for 127.0.0.11:53: server misbehaving there are a bunch of similar reports. Looking through some of them, I'm not sure the exact cause offhand.

Are you able to look up other hosts from inside the container? I would try to see if there are any errors logged from docker anywhere.

So the content of resolv.conf is

search fritz.box
nameserver 127.0.0.11

The container has access to external world because if i wget IPs it works but it cannot resolve anything.
I'm running a pi.hole as a local dns
