### Duplicate Check - [x] I confirm I searched for existing reports and found no duplicates. I found related Linux desktop reports (for example #2441), but they appear different: in this case the AppImage does **not crash**. The process remains alive, while no application window is created. ### Latest Release - [x] I confirm I am on the latest release and the problem still happens. ### Operating System Linux ### Package Downloaded .AppImage (SimpMusic-x86_64.AppImage) ### Desktop Environment (Linux only) Zorin OS desktop. Reproduced in both Wayland and X11 sessions. ### App Version 2.2.0 ### Describe the Bug SimpMusic starts from the terminal and initializes its services, media backend and ViewModel, but no GUI window ever appears. The process remains running instead of crashing or exiting. On an X11 session, `wmctrl -lx` shows other application windows but no SimpMusic window at all, suggesting that the application never creates/maps its main window rather than the window merely being off-screen. The same machine previously ran SimpMusic successfully. The problem first appeared with the previous desktop installation, and a completely clean reinstall of 2.2.0 did not fix it. ### Steps to Reproduce 1. Download the current Linux x86_64 AppImage for SimpMusic 2.2.0. 2. Make it executable. 3. Start with a clean SimpMusic profile (the previous `~/.simpmusic` directory was moved away before first launch). 4. Run `./SimpMusic-x86_64.AppImage` from a terminal. 5. Wait for initialization. 6. The process stays alive, but no SimpMusic window appears. 7. Reproduce under Wayland. 8. Log out and start an X11 session, then repeat: same result. 9. While the process is alive under X11, run `wmctrl -lx`: there is no SimpMusic window listed. ### Expected Behavior The SimpMusic main window should be created and displayed after startup. ### System / graphics information - Zorin OS (Ubuntu 24.04-based packages) - Kernel: `7.0.0-34-generic` - GPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics (Tiger Lake GT2, PCI 0x9a49) - Mesa: `25.2.8-0ubuntu0.24.04.2` - OpenGL renderer: `Mesa Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics (TGL GT2)` - OpenGL: 4.6 - Direct rendering: Yes - Hardware acceleration: Yes - Reproduced on both Wayland and X11 - `apt-get check` reports no broken package dependencies - Clean SimpMusic profile tested ### Additional troubleshooting already performed - Reinstalled SimpMusic using the latest 2.2.0 AppImage. - Tested with a completely fresh `~/.simpmusic` profile. - Tested both Wayland and X11. - Tested X11 backend explicitly previously. - Tested software rendering previously. - Confirmed the process remains alive. - Confirmed under X11 that no SimpMusic window exists via `wmctrl -lx`. - Confirmed Intel/Mesa OpenGL acceleration is working normally with `glxinfo -B`. ### Log / Error Details Startup reaches the application/ViewModel initialization: ```text Debug: (MpvLibrary) LC_NUMERIC was 'it_IT.UTF-8', forced to 'C' so libmpv can start Debug: (MpvLibrary) Loaded libmpv ... (client API 2.5) Info: (ListenTogetherBridge) Playback bridge started Info: (ListenTogetherBridge) Crossfade restored Warn: (ab) SharedViewModel init Warn: (ab) ControllerJob is running Warn: (ab) ControlState is ControlState(isPlaying=false, isShuffle=false, repeatState=None, isLiked=false, isNextAvailable=false, isPreviousAvailable=false, isCrossfading=false, volume=1.0) ``` Later, a request to Return YouTube Dislike receives HTTP 400 because `videoId` is empty: ```text ClientRequestException: Client request(GET https://returnyoutubedislikeapi.com/Votes?videoId=) invalid: 400 ``` However, the process remains alive after this message, and the missing window occurs before/independently of that request, so I am not sure whether it is related. There is no visible crash dialog and no SimpMusic X11 window is registered. Please let me know if any additional diagnostic output would be useful (thread dump, strace, JVM/AWT diagnostics, etc.).
