:subdomain not working about subdomain-fu

try installing like this:

gem install subdomain-fu -v 1.0.0.beta3

I have the same error, but:

gem install subdomain-fu -v 1.0.0.beta3
ERROR:  Could not find a valid gem 'subdomain-fu' (= 1.0.0.beta3) in any repository

That comment was from 3 years ago. At this point try using the master branch. This gem hasn't been released in 5 years, people still using it are probably using the master branch, or a fork. Look at the forks here:

Also there are now other subdomain solutions, and it is likely you can do what you want with just Rails.

^ None of those require any additional gems at all. Just Rails.
