It should be possible to substitute the bridging between Swift and C++ using Objective-C++ to bridging through C. That should make it compatible with Linux. It may be difficult like with bridging LLDB C++ bindings to Swift in Swift-Colab, but doable if you get creative. And to try it on Linux, it could take just a few minutes learn how to compile it on Swift-Colab. I recently recommended that the author of Lullaby try Colab as a Linux test platform, so I guess Swift-Colab is turning into a way to easily compile Swift packages on Linux. @michaeleisel if you’re up for collaborating with me on this, you know how much I am willing to help replace the Objective-C++ with C!

JJLISO8601DateFormatter is written in mostly C and does not rely heavily on Objective-C libraries specific to Apple. So we could just create C bindings for ZippyJSONCFamily and do some extra data marshalling in Swift.
