You could try installing the highest available version for the librarys and then running the test.py file, then tweaking the libary versions till it works. Unfortunately python 3.5.2 has reached end-of-life support for pip, this might make installing the appropriate library versions a bit challenging. If this comes up, you could try to run the code using a newer version of python that still support the latest version of pip.

I believe the python version is 3.5.2. The repo appears to use the NumPY and Theano python modules. These are not included in the default version of PIP.

To install them run the commands:
pip install numpy
pip install theano

Sure, but which specific versions do we need from numpy and theano? E.g. numpy 1.23.5 is supported only for python 3.8 or greater (or sth similar, but for sure not for 3.5.2)
