Hi @marshmellow77 thanks for using MII and reporting this. I see you opened quite a few issues! We definitely appreciate the help with finding these bugs. In the next week, I'll try to reproduce each one and report back to you on findings / solutions.

I can confirm I'm seeing the same behavior when running inside a notebook. In its current state, MII wasn't designed with the intention of running it in a notebook, but I can see how this would be useful. We saw your suggestion in your blog post:
In the future I would love if we could choose within MII to use the optimisation with or without gRPC
We will soon be adding this feature and we'll be sure to test in a notebook :)

@mrwyattii I am having the same issue when trying to deploy MII with fast API. The same fix works, but the GRPC server is crashing periodically. I am not sure if that is related.
