@furiouslong are you working on this? If yes, can you look at this change: https://github.com/pgmsft/ethr/tree/feature/udpLatency ?
The change above has few bugs that needs to be fixed before merging:
- It doesn't work if client starts sending packets before server
- If a packet is lost, the whole test would get stuck - Need to convert this to recv with timeout
- Loss calculation would be nice

Is this issues still need to be fixed? if so i would love doing this as a somehow beginner.

@SarwateShubham has a PR #66 for this but the PR needs more work. Please chat with him and see if he needs help to enhance his PR to fix the issues mentioned above.

Currently the server is listening only on TCP ports. Do we need to change this implementation for UDP tests or this is by design?
