@loritana91087,
Our Product Team has successfully reproduced the issue locally. Looks like this issue related with slow connection to cdn.
This issue also can be reproduced with latency on downloading pbiviz.json.
This issue has already been marked as a bug and Product Team is working on a fix now.
Please keep using basic slicer visual as workaround first.

@loritana91087, try to check ChicletSlicer again and let me know if it works for you.

We're having the same problem using the slicer in a Dynamics 365 Power BI Panel. We're using the slicer on a report with some visuals pinned to a panel. On the Power BI Service, if the user clicks on the panel, the report opens and the data is correctly filtered, based on the ChicleSlicer selection saved.
When this same panel is published on Dynamics 365, when they click on it, the ChicletSlicer it is not filtering any data.

With the default PBI slicer, this is working fine.

Hope this could be fixed :-)
Thanks.

I'm having the same issue.

I have a chiclet slicer with forced selection set to on and multiple selection off and the initial state is a particular filter selection, however when initially opening the report no filter is applied. If I make another selection on the slicer and then revert to the initial selection, the filter is applied correctly.

Is the issue still being investigated?

Thanks

Same problem here with Power BI Report Server (March 2018) and developing with PBI Desktop (optimized for PBI Report Server - March 2018)..

When I open the Report, the filter is marked, but data is not filtered. Very annoying :(

Hey, I am using images stored on SharePoint to be displayed in Chicklet slicer. They doesn't show up on Power BI desktop but they do show up properly on Power BI service.

The problems I am facing are:

  1. When I am loading the report on to Power Point, the images are not displaying in the PPT.
  2. When I embedded the report on to share point iframe, it is taking a lot of time to load the report. When I debug, I see that the images are taking a lot of time to load.

Is there a way to solve this?

Do we have to reload the slicer to see the fix? We're having the issue with disappearing selectors when we click between published reports (both reports use the Chiclet Slicer). We don't know how to reset the filter buttons so we can see the ones that disappeared. I will check our version with the latest available. Thanks. We can provide some screen shots if you want.

@datat
are you still facing with the issue? Does it happens on Desktop, web application, only with embedded?
Could you priovide screens and report or dataset with data, which helps to reproduce this issue?

I have the same issue as stated above on Jan 18, 2018. Till yesterday the slicer worked on the published report but now it is displayed with a cross and "learn more". Does anybody know how to fix this? It is rather urgent as this is a common report shared within my company and now it shows this error message.
Thanks

@ann12341, can you send a sample pbix report to Power BI Custom Visuals Support [email protected]?

It is working again. My organization had to add each visual which is used from the market place to "My Organization".
