Through PR #7 the Install-SecMgmtInsightsConnector cmdlet is being added. Through the successful execution of this command the following will be performed
- Creates the
Documents\Microsoft Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectorsdirectory if does not exists already - If the
ApplicationDisplayNameparameter is specified, then a new Azure Active Directory application will be create, configured, and consented to for the Azure Active Directory tenant associated with the authenticated user - If the
ApplicationIdparameter is specified, then that value will be used to configure the connector - Downloads, configures, and installs the latest version of the connector
The result of these actions is the SecMgmtInsights data source will now be available in Power BI Desktop. Note this will require that Power BI Desktop be configured to load untrusted extensions. If this is a concern then see handle connector signing for details on how to sign the SecMgmtInsights.mez file
