Is this something to be concerned about?

It depends. It means that you have Go 1.4 or earlier installed. RawURLEncoding was added with 1.5 - so metha requires 1.5 (How ot install Go).

If you happen to be on a Linux system which supports deb or rpm packages, you could install a release as well.

Oh, I had just installed go but the path was screwed up and the new version wasn't found. Fixed now.
