Without setting the window position I'm currently unable to use it in production.

Hopefully it will be added to libui one day, but currently there are more important things missing.

Actually, it was once supported. But OSs and window managers had differing capabilities, so it was removed again: andlabs/libui#351
(The area component allows creating a handle similar to -webkit-app-region to move the window with the mouse.)
