👋 I'm Mincong

I'm a software engineer at Datadog, currently working on data store automation. The goal is to eliminate toil and simplify operations using workflows. I write workflows for creating and deleting data pipelines in complex microservices architecture. I created verification process for data pipelines' lifecycle. I also write internal libraries to allow other people to build automation easily, such as a Go API client and a package for manipulating configuration in different formats (YAML, Starlark). Previously, I co-developped custom solutions for managing data lifecycle. Before Datadog, I worked at Nuxeo, RedHat, and Orange.

During my free time, I write blog posts on https://mincong.io to share knowledge with 20K users/month. It's mainly about Java, data engineering, and automation.
