Yes, a folder in the dat-gui panel is good place for now. If you send me a pull request to add the option, I will merge it!

Frankly I do not see the need for an option: what is the use case when one wants to see a map upside down?

Please, do not disable the option to turn the map upside down. It is one of the most useful features for all of us working with sub-terrain objects (geologists, mining engineers, spelologists, archaeologists, hydrogeologists etc.). I use it every day.

The existing controls allow us to view the objects from various angles by unlimited rotation. The option may complicate the web app and will spend users' time to switch it off. Probably we need practice to control the view rather than reducing play of controls. It would be better to invent another control if you are not satisfied with the current controls.
