Hi Joe,

Yes I am working on speech to text conversion. So you would suggest to use KALDI over pySLGR for speech to text conversion?
Can I get some more explanation on your comment saying "That is a related, but different technology for automatic speech recognition. " It would be a great help.

Yes I am working with Chris Mattmann.

Thank you

Hi Joe,

We actually tried using KALDI before I joined in the project and the results were not very satisfactory.
Thank you for the clarification.
Yes I would say Hi to Chris on behalf of you.

@vorugant please re-open this issue. Just saw being flagged in here :)

@JosephPCampbell great to hear from ya. Yes I recommended looking into PySLGR. The activity we are trying to do here is to take many calls from a customer call service center with both customers/clients and agents on the other end (so need to do speaker dilation) and turn audio files into text. We don't have a ton of labeled transcripts for the calls, but we could generate some. We had negative results with KALDI but only I believe b/c we didn't properly train it. Do you have any suggestions?
