How exactly did you download it? Does it have MD5 11d957f92c3e874af2c392e7750cd5aa and SHA-1 1d835fecd3e1e33cd9c06933ece79ee1d367d266? 3671040 bytes. This has worked consistently from Technical Preview 4 of Windows Server 2016 through builds today and hasn't changed.

I downloaded it from here, with Chrome: https://github.com/jhowardmsft/docker-ci-zap
Connected to a share on my target pc and copied/pasted it there. I don't think it got corrupted during the download. I did run it from powershell, may that have been the problem?

Yes, but what's the MD5/SHA-1/file size? Does it match above?

Thanks, I did check the SHA1 and MD5. They were wrong. I checked the contents of the file an they were a github html page... my mistake was to right click the docker-ci-zap.exe from https://github.com/jhowardmsft/docker-ci-zap and click "save as". Instead I had to click it, to open this page: https://github.com/jhowardmsft/docker-ci-zap/blob/master/docker-ci-zap.exe

Then click "download".

As best practices (and to avoid such problems), binaries should not be in the source control.
You should add the binary under "Releases".

Anyway, now the command looks like its doing something. Hopefully deleting that nasty old docker folder wasting my space and getting on my nerves. If it works, thanks for that, else I'll be back with a new issue ;) Cheers
