Wait actually, this is fixed in master. There was a missing translation string that was fixed by 3e4398e. This will be working correctly in the next release.

I am on the latest versions of the card, HA and the app and I have exactly the same issue. Do you need some log files or something similar?

I've been watching it for a while (there aren't warnings every day either). The problem is not with all warnings. Thunderstorms (Gewitter) are correctly displayed in German, heat warnings (Hitzewarnung) are displayed in English.
