Hey @AlexWeinstein92, have you checked out the "Integration with 3rd party input libraries" section from the TextField docs? There's an example that uses react-imask. I hope this helps.

@DiegoAndai imask integration I found difficult to figure out, and time was of the essence when I created this. It's a small issue where I need to spend 10-20 mins figuring out what I found difficult. I will try to get to it tomorrow Monday morning but can't promise for sure :)

It turns out I was mistaken as to what imask even does. I was looking for password masking, not phone number and things like that.

Ideally for credit cards I would be able to mask only the first 12 digits, so that users can see their last 4 digits. Would there be any way to accomplish this using imask or other libraries? This thread can be closed even if there is no further advice to offer

You should be able to achieve that using imask. I would recommend checking out their documentation. Closing this issue, feel free to reopen if something is not working on the Material UI side.
