I've tried to install this kext on my MBP late 2011 with 10.11.6 running. `make` was no problem, but `make load` gave me this output:
_sudo chown -R root:wheel /tmp/DisableTurboBoost.kext
sudo kextutil -v /tmp/DisableTurboBoost.kext

Unfortunately I'm not so familiar with this kind of programming, but do i have here several different problems or just one?
Thanks in advance!
@CiproFlo I think this kext has yet been updated and I encountered the same errors as well. But fortunately, one of the famous developers @syscl developer a way much more powerful kext which is [CPUTune](https://github.com/syscl/CPUTune). Here's some log after installing CPUTune.kext
```
CPUTune @ CPUInfo: cpu model: 0x3c
CPUTune @ init: successed!
CPUTune @ disableTurboBoost: get MSR_IA32_MISC_ENABLE value: 0x850089
CPUTune @ disableTurboBoost: set MSR_IA32_MISC_ENABLE to 0x4000850089
CPUTune @ start: cpu model (0x3c) does not support Intel SpeedShift.
CPUTune @ start: registerService
CPUTune @ readConfigAtRuntime: enable Intel Turbo Boost
CPUTune @ enableTurboBoost: get MSR_IA32_MISC_ENABLE value: 0x4000850089
CPUTune @ stop: restore MSR_IA32_MISC_ENABLE from 0x4000850089 to 0x850089
CPUTune @ ~CPUInfo(): OK!
```
As you can see, there's dynamic profile load at runtime features, which is EventTimer-based and it rules!
I wish this help!
