Getting an error when I try to update about meteor-font-awesome

can you give it a try again? works fine for me. thinking you were updating
as i was releasing a new version

if the problem persists, try to rm -rf ~/.meteorite/ then update again -
that usually works for me

I got the same error trying to update as well. Removing the ~/.meteorite directory solved the problem though.

I am still having this problem even when i remove the .meteorite directory

bugging the meteorite folks to see if i did something wrong with the recent upgrade - sorry for the troubles

you can also try to delete the <project>/.meteor/meteorite/packages directory too

I ended up removing font-awesome from my packages list, deleting that directory (.meteorite) and installing again. Works now. Thanks

I think Meteorite in general is a bit buggy...I have had more than a few issues upgrading or getting packages by tag/commit.

Right. Figured this one out, as I was installing it myself today.

The issue is that there was a submodule in here but there isn't any more.

Meteorite doesn't really support that right now. If people run into this problem, the easier solution in mrt uninstall --system, and trying again.

ahhh that makes sense - i removed the submodule b/c font-awesome's repo no
longer includes the actual files we want to use since they shifted to a
build system - we'd have to run their build script to use the repo files,
so i just now include the output files of the build process

didnt occur to me that this would be a problem
