Thanks for reporting this issue. Let me try and work on a fix for this. I'll have to add logic to get around this as it shows the interfaces of the children when searching for interfaces on master and then changes the device ID after it diffs the difference between what you want and what it pulled from API.

Hello @FragmentedPacket, thanks for your answer !
After some tests, it seems that the problem remains.
The interface on the children is deleted and appears on the master : "interface Ethernet111 has been modified".
You will find attached the debug mode and the playbook !
(pynetbox is in version 4.2.5)
