Thanks @tobiasKaminsky I am not sure if this has been caused by using the very early versions of e2ee, but I am struggling to remove it so I can continue trying e2ee.

The only place I could find reference to the oc_e2e_encryption_lock referred to in the error was in the following two tables;

innodb_index_stats & innodb_table_stats

I have run the command to recreate those tables, which was successful and now contains all of my currently enabled apps.

Unfortunately the error still occurs and as I am so deeply in using NC now, I cannot start again with a new DB.

@mannp if I remember correctly from another issue you meanwhile setup a new system so this is no longer a problem. I think the planed enhancements like unlocking files in the admin interface and resetting encryption keys will make this issue void. Feel free to re-open it if you think there is still something to do.

Ok @schiessle I am ok with closing it, but would welcome the unlocking files in admin functionaility as after swapping to redis, I am still not enjoying locking file issues.

When is that due to fall? 13.01? :)
