Would you mind sharing more details to try to reproduce? OS, CPU architecture, commands you are running, any docker-compose/config file you may be using, etc. If you can also share the entire dump that’d help a lot
Thanks
from hasura-storage.
@dbarrosop it’s on amd server with docker on it.
I don’t have more dump info.
I followed the docker-composer in nhost repo https://github.com/nhost/nhost/tree/main/examples/docker-compose . When I use the 0.1.5 storage docker image it work well. I planned to build and run the storage in my Mac to check if I can have more details.

@dbarrosop It's seems related to the linux server env. When i use the same docker run command in my mac and in the linux server i don't have the same result. On my mac it don't crash but there are crash on my linux server.

Ok, I just found it seems to be an issue with older docker versions. Notice the first line in your error:
runtime/cgo: pthread_create failed: Operation not permitted
Searching online for that leads to numerous people having similar issues in random containers and they all point to this:
For instance, another project having the same issue is: containers/skopeo#1501
I see you are using ubuntu 20.10, which is quite old, so I suspect it is the same issue. Seems like the solution is to upgrade docker, you can try adding docker's ubuntu repositories and see if that helps you getting a newer version of docker:
https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/ubuntu/#install-using-the-repository
from hasura-storage.
More to this:
https://docs.docker.com/engine/release-notes/#201010
Add support for clone3 syscall in the default seccomp policy to support running containers based on recent versions of Fedora and Ubuntu. moby/moby/#42836.
So I think you need at least 20.10.10 and you are running 20.10.8
from hasura-storage.
Hi @dbarrosop Thanks for the tip, i didn't see that kind of behaviour before on docker so i didn't search into it. It was a go related error so i thinked on this project and not immediatly on the docker.
The workaround --security-opt seccomp=unconfined works and i will check to update docker or the distrib after that
Edit: It work with Docker 20.10.17
from hasura-storage.
