This looks like a bug in pyffi which generally deals with radius calculations. The algorithms (i.e. skin bounds and shape bounds) have been tested against official nifs, but something could have been missed.
Any specific bounds which have seen to be wrong?

Actually this is mainly the scripts side of things. It uses object.radius which in the case of the bound sphere which is a circum-sphere, withing a cube.

So, got this totally wrong. Radius is a bit of a misnomer. Its more like a padding value around the specific havok collision shape. It is used to do fast collision calculations.
