I had this issue. My problem ended up being not having billing correctly set up for API use despite having a premium account for ChatGPT use. Would recommend checking here: https://platform.openai.com/account/billing/overview

My billing is setup correctly and still getting the 429 error code. Any suggestions?

Currently getting the same error. Have billing set up and correct API key
