Oops, I didn't notice that because I replied directly via the notification email message.

I've also re-introduced a more subtle version of that purple into my local copy.

Wouldn't you like to share this change?

Sure, shopping then I'll do that,

Good decision to add that purple. Here's another suggestion. You refer to the official documentation..

"For more details on the configuration please refer to the Node-RED official documentation."

But that link is a 404, i.e. dead... Would be helpful if it pointed to actual official documentation on node-red css for Beta 4 coming out on Monday.

Hi Mauricio, well that's cerrainly fixed the title in debug.... however, looking at the debug output of one of my INJECTS, node2b22dea6.1ad682 (now readable ID) - I see an orange msg.psyload:Object (fine) and underneath a purple then grey "response: object" - the purple is not esy to read and the grey is worse.

I tried including an image in here, won't let me. Then the colon in the middle and braces around that are black - almost unreadable.

Opening up the object there's a readable light blue and orange but the black is unreadable and hte purple too dark for that background, more grey again a little too dark.

If I can be of help let me know, I could not figure out which css elements were relevant but I do have good colour sense.

As you can see here, I've had somew luck experimenting..

but no matter what I select, those sub-objects - and array references remain dark grey,,

Sorry, I thought I'd scrapped that response as I learned better in the early hours of this morning... I've also re-introduced a more subtle version of that purple into my local copy. Lovely..

@bonanitech - Sure: (sorry for the delay, been struggling with node-red-contrib-amazon-echo ignoring colour overridesā€¦) ā€“ sll I did was this to your latest effort:

I left your original colour in as I have a memory like a sieveā€¦. And added a nice light purpleā€¦

.red-ui-debug-msg-object-key {
color: #EDEDED;
color: #dd66dd;
}

Thatā€™s all.

Pull Request

from midnight-red.

scargill avatar scargill commented on June 25, 2024

Right - out of time - about to go to beach for 3 days - instead, here simply is a request =

from:

.red-ui-debug-msg-object-key {
color: #EDEDED;
}

to:

.red-ui-debug-msg-object-key {
color: #dd66dd;
}

Not important, just nice. As I'm asksing, comment backgrounsd in the main edit window - white - a bit overpowering, maybe something softer? but really it is good as it is generally, WAY better than the standard light theme.
