Trying to build/install on Fedora 21 errors. about distributions

Fedora Core 21 is currently in alpha. We will support it when it is at the general release stage. In the meantime, you can try installing the packages you are interested in from Fedora Core 20, but we make no guarantees about how that will work.

grab and install this RPM to give the fc20 binaries a go, I think it'll work but as @chrislea said, we're not going to be officially supporting it until 21 gets released as it's too much for us to keep up with: https://rpm.nodesource.com/pub/fc/20/x86_64/nodesource-release-fc20-1.noarch.rpm

I'm also pretty sure the build for FC20 will work just fine (though no promises).
