ModStats

This is a website which displays information about tModloader mods.

The site can be found under https://modstats.le0n.dev/

Features

• Mod Search (internal- and display name)
• Author Search (through steamid64 and steam name)

How to run locally

Requirements:

• Go

1. Clone the repo git clone https://github.com/NotLe0n/ModStats.git
2. Navigate to it cd ModStats
3. create config.json, for the default config write: {}
4. Run go run ./server
5. Browse http://localhost:8080

modstats's Issues

Add download tracking over time

Since the repl stays online at all times, we can implement a download tracking feature using timed events. Every day the API would call /api/getModlist and save the result to a json file.
Do this for 7 days and you get the download count of every mod tracked over a week.

Homepage link

Homepage is an non-linked hypertext that leads to 'http://javid.ddns.net/tModLoader/tools/' which displays the actual homepage as a string of text. Make it where the Homepage displays a hyperlink to the actual homepage of the mod

Remove <img> when mod has no icon

Right now it just shows a no-image image

add mod list

url would be something like: modstats.repl.co/list.html

It would display a list of all mods with their Diplayname (link to /stats?mod=<name>), author, download count and version

Update to 1.4 ModBrowser (Steam Workshop)

With tModLoader 1.4 now in its alpha phase, we can test out porting ModStats to 1.4's ModBrowser.
1.4's ModBrowser now uses Steam Workshop servers instead of Jopojelly's Raspberry PI.

It is still uncertain what will happpen to javid.ddns.net:

Using the full name of a mod in the URL won't embed correctly

Typing https://modstats.repl.co/stats?mod=No%20Fishing%20Quests into discord wont generate the URL correcty, because bettermodwidgets needs the internal name

add author search

search: author:TheLonelySheep and get what and how many mods that author has created.
