Palette-Picker

This was an individual project for school. This was our first project as a front end developer to create our own database using Postgresql, node, knex and express. The app allows the user to generate a random color palette, save their favorite colors, then save that specific palette into a project folder.

This app is live on Heroku

Installation

• clone the repository
• npm install
• Create a database in your terminal by running
  • psql
  • CREATE DATABASE palette_picker;
• On the server side run nodemon server.js
• npm start on the client side

palette-picker's Issues

Add Error messages

Add user interface error messages when project name or palette name isn't put in.

Be able to delete projects without it being blank

Right now projects can only be deleted if there are no palettes in the folder. I'd like to be able to delete projects along with everything inside it.

change css where project and palettes are displayed

the project and palettes are rendered in the center. I'd like to change that to minimize scrolling.
