This one was odd. There is a default display property for some native elements (-moz-box) which I'm using in my addon. For some reason it stopped working in FF 63 when applied by an external stylesheet. However, I can use -webkit-box instead which oddly has the same effect but isn't disabled. All other standard CSS display values (block, flex, etc.) just the layout. I couldn't find any hints at Mozilla what might be going on here.

Please confirm if that works for you. :)

Odd, I tested with macOS Sierra + FF Dev 63.0b2 and the new tab button displays fine for me after ticking the option.

I made an experimental release with minor tweaks. But I'd be surprised if that solves it for you.

Unfortunately, I can't repro the bug on Windows 10. Does it still occur when installing Paxmod on a completely fresh FF profile? Did you try to completely uninstall Paxmod, restart the browser, and install it again?

If you're feeling adventurous and know some CSS, you could open up the Inspector of the Browser Toolbox, search for the tabs-newtab-button selector to find the button element and check what stylesheet is responsible for making it invisible. Sadly, I can't really investigate any further as I'm unable to repro on any OS currently available to me.

Sometimes my pinned tabs are in the left "free space" and sometimes they are arranged together with the other tabs.

Furthermore, moving tabs does not work. I can only move it to the place where - without the plugin - the table bar would be (guess). The first and second customization tip from README do not solve the problem either.
