Client ID and secret did not authenticate @ first login about oauthd

I m not really sure, so i pushed a commit to signin from the html form... (many login extensions have some hard times with js)

If you just updated without reinstall, you should recompile with npm run install or grunt

But I dont think forcing an email address is such a good idea.. People probably already have user accounts not in the email form. I was using a blank admin user and a password as well, (my goal is to separate the /admin/ part to another reverse proxy url using nginx and a different running oauthd), since my admin page is going to be protected by ssl certificates anyway.

I am also getting a 404 on the login now when using a custom "base" in the config. But I was also getting that from before, but the only thing I needed was the /oauthd/admin page, which did work...

Okay, i changed back the email type to a general "text" some time ago (but with an "email" label)

About the 404, the login redirects to host_url + base, maybe it does not match your proxy ?

About our license, It allows a free use for personal utilisation or non-profit organization, but if your project is opensource it must also be AGPL v3 (or compatible license). For a commercial license you can contact us from oauth.io

So it's nice you propose to donate, but using us is already enough, If you want to support us, speak about oauthd to your friends :)
