@octokit/rest v16 does not have the latest version of @octokit/plugin-paginate-rest, so you cannot pass an endpoint method as the first argument to octokit.paginate

Can you try this?

    const options = octokit.activity.listWatchedReposForAuthenticatedUser.endpoint.merge({})
    const list = await octokit.paginate(options)
    console.log(`got back ${list.length} repos`)

Out of curiosity: can you upgrade to v17/v18 of @octokit/rest or are you stuck with v16 for some reason?

Yea, I was trying to use that plugin as a migration tool so I could adopt the newer way of doing pagination.

The other method does indeed work.
