``` What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create two data objects of the same class 2. query the full list of these objects (EG1 below) (message contains and array of dicts) 3. delete one of these objects 4. query the full list of these objects (EG2 below) (message contains a single dict, rather than an array of dicts with one entry) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? EG1 (two entries) { "list": { "@offset": "", "message": [ { "date": "2013-01-16T21:29:52.243000", "message": "Hello Sailor:0", "sent": "false", "number": "0", "key": "aglkZXZ-cmVzdHlyEAsSClNtc21lc3NhZ2UYBgw" }, { "date": "2013-01-16T21:42:00.381000", "message": "Hello Sailor:0", "sent": "false", "number": "0", "key": "aglkZXZ-cmVzdHlyEAsSClNtc21lc3NhZ2UYCQw" } ] } } EG2 1 entry { "list": { "@offset": "", "message": { "date": "2013-01-16T21:42:00.381000", "message": "Hello Sailor:0", "sent": "false", "number": "0", "key": "aglkZXZ-cmVzdHlyEAsSClNtc21lc3NhZ2UYCQw" } } } EG3 expected output { "list": { "@offset": "", "message": [ { "date": "2013-01-16T21:42:00.381000", "message": "Hello Sailor:0", "sent": "false", "number": "0", "key": "aglkZXZ-cmVzdHlyEAsSClNtc21lc3NhZ2UYCQw" } ] } } What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? latest windows 7 Please provide any additional information below. I think this may be to conversion if XML to json rather than a python dict. Makes parsing the JSON on the client difficult as response['list']['Smsmessage'] is not always the same type. It is a list for more than one returned object, and a dict if exactly one object is returned. ``` Original issue reported on code.google.com by `[email protected]` on 17 Jan 2013 at 12:42
